 What to look for in the field: 
  The capitulescence is corymb-like, flat- or round-toppedHeads are numerous, located at the ends of branchlets in glomerules - NOT in one-sided arrays.
  Stems are straight, glabrous below, gradually becoming pubescent above.
  Leaves are linear to narrowly-lanceolate, with 3 to 5 prominent, parallel veins, obscurely or sparsely glandular.  The lowest stem leaves often deciduous by flowering.
  Rays are yellow, very short and nearly inconspicuous.
