I was on the ground, doing some weeding in my wildflower meadow garden early one mid-summer morning.   The sun was just coming up, and I noticed this common European skipper slowly flexing it's wings, angled toward the rising sun.   I raced off, grabbed my camera and tripod, and hastily dashed off a few frames, just as it was about to take off.
