Where would you guess this was photographed?   If you know the species, you'll guess that it wasn't in some pristine wilderness at the top of a scenic mountain.   This species is a common weed of dry, dusty roadsides, vacant lots and waste places.   These plants were growing next to some "landscaped" yew bushes in front of a strip mall in Avon Connecticut.   Hundreds of people walked right by them every day and probably didn't notice them at all, fortunately for the plants.
