I've driven along the rural road in Morristown from which this photo was done more times than I can count, and enjoyed the absolutely beautiful views of this mountain range and pastoral landscape.   I've seen these splendid mountains at all times of day, in all seasons, and witnessed their ever-changing beauty.  I missed an opportunity to photograph this scene the prior week when fall colors were at their best.  But on this day, I knew what I had to do, and when the light would be optimal.  The clouds cooperated, allowing me to create a memorable image.
